Maisons du Monde is a French furnishings and decoration brand founded in Brest in 1996 by Xavier Marie which, by the end of 2015, had almost 250 stores in France, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland, of which more than 180 are in its country of origin. In 2010 it had a turnover of almost 323 million euros, and in 2015 it had more than 5,500 employees.
